2. Coppid Beech security staff save Bracknell Mum’s life

Bracknell News:

A NEAR-DEATH experience has prompted one mum from Bracknell to praise the ‘on the ball’ security staff at a hotel for ‘saving her life’.

Laura Veale, from Great Hollands, was enjoying pre-Christmas festivities at the Keller Bar and Apres Nightclub in the Coppid Beech Hotel when it happened.

The 38 year old suddenly collapsed and says it was only down to the quick-thinking security staff that she is here today.

3. Berkshire village voted UK’s poshest in national survey

Bracknell News:

A village near Ascot has been named one of the poshest area’s in the UK and number one in the Berkshire countryside.

In a recent survey for the Daily Telegraph, a list of the UK’s poshest villages was produced comparing features such as transport links, highest house prices, and best lifestyle amenities in each corner of the country.

From film locations to royal neighbors these villages offer what most people save up years to own.

4. Dog owners warned over sickness bug sweeping parks in Bracknell

Bracknell News:

REPORTS of dogs falling ill with symptoms of sickness and diarrhoea has skyrocketed in recent weeks.

Vets have also issued warnings about ‘higher than usual occurrence of gastroenteritis in dogs in recent weeks.’

The serious mystery illness has left authorities stumped as to the cause as reports of poorly pets continue to pour in.

5. The latest retailer set to open at Peach Place, Wokingham

THE latest outlet at Wokingham’s Peach Place has been announced – and it is championing an ‘environmentally friendly’ way of shopping.

Maya’s Refillables, a small local business will be opening in Spring and will be the first Zero Waste Shop to open in Wokingham.
