Ant and Dec Limitless Win viewers ‘gutted’ over episode announcement

Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win is the newest game show on ITV.

The primetime entertainment series, which launched in January, is the first new show from Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in more than a decade.

It features an unlimited jackpot and a money ladder that never ends, and has seen some contestants walk away with big bucks.

The first episode saw married couple Kathryn and Will win £500,000, and in the second father and son duo, Tony and Zee took home £250,000.

However, not everyone was so lucky, with Welsh sisters Amy and Sarah losing out on the chance to win £30,000. You can find out more here.

The biting game show has proven popular with viewers at home, so many were shocked to learn that Saturday night’s episode will be the last of the first series.

In response to a Twitter user calling the final episode “superb and tense,” Dec wrote, “Thank you. Can’t believe it’s the last one next week!”

Viewers were quick to react, writing, “What?!?! The last one already? After the next episode, is Saturday Night Takeaway coming back?”

While another added: “Last one next week????? Are you kidding???!!!! Awwwwww!!!!! Me and my wife love Limitless Win. I don’t feel like that this has been going on for a long time. I hope you guys do it again.”

And a third commented: “Hollow out, love the show. Will be crossing my fingers for a second series.”

Those sad to see the game show go are in luck, as ITV has confirmed Limitless Win will be returning for a second series.

The broadcaster said the first episode of the quiz show drew 6.1 million viewers since it first aired earlier this year, making it its biggest launch for a new entertainment series since The Masked Singer.

Ant said: “We are thrilled that Limitless Win was a hit with viewers and will be back for more. unlimited jackpot.

Dec added, “We expect bigger and dizzier climbs on the unlimited money ladder. We can’t wait.”
